(Framing of pygmy native peoples and vulnerable peasants in the rural environments in the Democratic Republic of Congo to improve their social, economic and sanitary conditions)

ACTUALITIES
In the frame to capacities reinforcement of care prestators and actors to the fight against the maternal mortality, the PPSDR ONGD participated to a training about the planning methods and management of hemorrhage of post-partum in the program to fight against the maternal death organized by the coordination of 8th CEPAC in collaboration with the foundation MEDI+HELP Suisse under financial support of International DKT in February 2018 in Goma in la joie plazza hostel.
The training was presented by the Prof Dr. OLOMBY, the National president of the corporation of congolese gynecologist permanent university clinics of the university of KINSHASA with the facilitation of grands Dr gynecologist of Goma : Dr Benjamin KALOLE, Dr Rogatien and Dr Guylain. The training brought together in total 60participants come from a lot of structures of health and local ONG intervening in the planning familial.

ACTUAL SITUATION OF PYGMY SINISTERS OF FIRE IN THE SITE OF KARHAMA/BIRINDI
Since few days, because of the bad life conditions, there is two month ago that the pygmy sinisters of fire in the site of KARHAMA/BIRINDI were already installed in a camp near the pygmy site of KISIZA decided to leave the camp because of the weak capacity to support themselves. According to them, they should be able to resist though they had got an assistance to don`t live and to live to allow them to start the life as all their possessions burnt.
Today, they returned again to the same reception families in the site of KISIZA in waiting for an assistance to their favor and others stay outside missing the families to support them
PPSDR, continue to make an Alarm shout to the benefactors to assist these pygmy families who pass in a very hard moment.

This large family live outside in the neighborhood of KISIZA site, because of the large family, the reception families are careful to support his charge. The high deplorable hygiene conditions constitute an other risk to the health of children and the family in general. The children realize more than two month without change his clothers and as consequence the mycosis start to threaten the children because of the bad accommodation conditions and hygiene when the health depend on the hygiene
This mycosis need a specific treatment, when the parents pygmy without speak about sinister they are really vulnerables.
Let us give chance to children pygmy to live In good health.
To grant the humanitarian help pygmy is an ideal because their vulnerability degree is up.
GENERAL CONSTANT TO THE SITUATION OF PYGMY, VICTIMS OF DISASTER OF SHELTERS IN THE KARHAMA/BIRINDI SITE .
In the night of 28th August 017, in the pygmy site of KARHAMA/BIRINDI, situated in the NYAKALENGWA grouping no far from the white house, the BAHAVU burnt all the hut and all the possession of pygmy because of a conflict between a HAVU and a pygmy in which by badly expected the BAHAVU joined their brothers to destroy the residences of pygmy .
According to the different information source, we concluded that fact was purely discriminatory and constitute the way to chass the pygmy badly expected in this environment as they took up that ground since many years, they didn’t only burn the huts, but they also don’t want to see the pygmy on that ground. That’s why, to help the pygmy, our project of building shelters and shopping of grounds to pygmy is a guarantee to the survival of pygmy peoples in the territory of Idjwi Island.
Since the morning of tuesday August 29th 017, all pygmy of that site moved toward the central site of KISIZA not far from our office PPSDR/IDJWI where they live until nowadays. Their effective is 132 pygmy in which 46 adults and 86 young and children that is 25 household.
They live in a very precarious situation and they don’t make any thing because they only saved their souls and all their thing was burned and plunder by the HAVU. The families those welcome them are also in difficulties to accommodate and feed them.
That’s why, there is a require of a food chain assistance and logistic support (Covers, clothers, kitchen ustensils and others) to allow them to survive.

That is the situation of KARHAMA/BIRINDI pygmy site and the discrimination degree of this native peoples .
The pygmy site of KARHAMA/BIRINDI is now uninhabited and that was the aim of the HAVU of NYAKALENGWA grouping.
