About PPSDR

PPSDR in acronym: Promotion Programs of the Health and Development in the Rural environments , is a no Governmental Organization without lucrative purpose working in the Health and Development context, created since 2011 in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo by MUHINDO MUTHETHE Hénoc in the target to frame the native peoples and peasants of the rural environments through the national territory of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The native peoples constitute our principal target because of their vulnerability degree. The natives get hardly to the base social services as the education, the health, the accommodation and the justice. The natives are the marginalization target and massacres in the last years (2008-2011), we assisted to a cannibalism made to pygmy native peoples by the bandit of the East of Democratic Republic of Congo

Until now the pygmy still live to the ceramic or the pottery. Their lifestyle is nomad in majority because the land right of our country doesn`t give them any land in all the country, but they are the first occupants of this country according to the history. The life of pygmy is very destitute.

1. The targets chased by PPSDR/ONGD are to know :
a. General objective
- To promote the health and development to the pygmy native population and the peasants in rural environments by the taking up charge strategy.
b. Specific objectives :
1. To frame and ensure a support to pygmy peoples and vulnerable peasants to improve their social, economic and
sanitary conditions ;
2. To reinforce the planning familial and the prevention of maternal mortality and infantile to native peoples and vulnerable peasants rural environments; 3. To favor the access of native peoples and vulnerable peasants to health cares of quality by the creation of health mutuals and the organization of clinic mobiles ; 4. To create the sanitary structures in favor of native peoples and vulnerable peasants of the disadvantaged environments ; 5. To create a supply in essential medicines and generics « CAMEG » to allow to ringroad care structures to get quickly to supply to medicines and medical materials ; 6. To create the School Catching Centers « CRS», to the school catching of pygmy peoples and others vulnerable peasants rural environments; 7. To promote the primary and secondary education of native children (pygmy), the orphans to massacres, war and HIV/AIDS ; 8. To ensure the protection of the rural youth against their agreement to rebel groups to the restoration of the durable peace ; 9. To fight against the poorness and unemployment of youths by the organization and the power reactor activities promotion of receipts organized with the youth; 10. To create the guarding services (security) to frame the youth in the fight against the unemployment ; 11. To organize the saving mutuals and local credits in the reinforcement of economy and self- funding of the rural youth; 12. To promote the human right in general and the native peoples (pygmy) in particular ; 13. To promote the social reinsertion of pygmy peoples, Albinos and disabled persons ; 14. To organize the intercultural sessions to favor the social reinsertion and the cultural exchange between the pygmy peoples and others communities to their integration in the society ; 15. To fight against the propagation of HIV/AIDS in the rural youth, in reinforcing the health education about the preventive measure and the orienting of cases toward the CDV. (Voluntary Screening Centers) ; 16. To ensure the psycho social taking charge of persons living with HIV/AIDS (PVV) ; 17. To fight against the sexual violence and all form of violations made to genders ; 18. To promote a durable environment by the reforestation works and the creation of ecotourism ; 19. To fight against the malnutrition in all his forms ; 20. To promote the farming and breeding ; 21. To arrange the roads to agricultural deserted ; 22. To provision the population in Drinking water ; 23. To promote the hygiene and sanitation of the environment by the community implication ; 24. To make an assistance to war transfer ; 25. To ensure a support to urgences in epidemic and catastrophes ; 26. To promote the education of the young girl in rural environment ; 27. To raise the educative level of the poorest family children (indigents); 28. To promote the literacy of adults in rural environments by the creation of adult literacy centers. 29. To fight against the smoking and alcoholism in the educative environments to the intellectual promotion of the rural youth.

Thanks to the initiatives of PPSDR, nowadays the pygmy are able to cultivate and produce the agricultural harvests. We request to backers to support us to have community fields because the great difficulty is the lack of fields where the agricultural projects have to be lead as the pygmy doesn`t have grounds to cultivate.

The pygmy are to school, study gratuitously in the school catching centers in the Idjwi island thanks to PPSDR and the financial support of PROLASA CANADA. The vision of PPSDR is to make large his projects everywhere in DRC.
